BRIAN MAMBOLEO STATEMENT ON THE CURFEW AND THE USE OF POLICE FORCE

STATATEMENT FROM BRIAN MAMBOLEO ON ONGOING CURFEW

Vibrant Nyamira youth leader Brian Mamboleo
First and foremost, allow me thank Kenyans from all walks of life for heeding to the directive issued by our president requiring anyone within the borders of Kenya to remain within their confines between 7.00 PM to 5.00 AM. From the information I have gathered, this order was fully complied with some exceptions.
Romans 13.1-2 states and I quote it verbatim, “Everyone must obey state authorities, because no authority exists without God's permission, and the existing authorities have been put there by God. Whoever opposes the existing authority opposes what God has ordered; and anyone who does so will bring judgment on himself.”
Being the first day for the execution of this order, we all expected some Kenyans to be caught in the wrong arm of the law for one reason or the other. Inadvertently or otherwise, yesterday wasn’t a good day to be seen contravening this order. Policemen were on high alert to fully execute the directives from the head of state and no one would have dared to be seen as being non-compliant.
I have information from credible sources that a huge chunk of our policemen acted in a humane way in execution of the order that required us all to be at home excluding essential service providers. My hats off for our gallant soldiers for risking their lives to ensure that we are all safe from all forms of damage to our health especially during period when concerted efforts are put forth to combat COVID-19.

Even after getting a notice of 48hrs Kenyans are still complaining about the curfew. Let's just adjust and be home before 7pm.
The best thing is to take personal responsibility and stay safe. Just avoid conflict with potential threat to your life.
Finally, I wish to reiterate the importance of Kenyans fully complying with the directives issues by various agencies of government in its quest to avert a possible healthcare scare. Let us avoid unnecessary movements, ensure high levels of hygiene, avoid crowded places and above all, respect the CURFEW if you are to avoid getting into trouble with our men and women in uniform.

God Bless YOU.
God Bless Kenya.
Brian Mamboleo Ongere.
